Q: Where do you live?

I live in Southeast Huntsville, in the Jones Valley area.

Q: Where are you from and how did you get to the Redstone region?

I was born and raised in Huntsville.  I moved away for 14 years, then moved back in 1991 to work at the Chamber.

Q: If you raised/are raising kids in the Redstone region, please share about their education experience.

All of my kids went to Jones Valley Elementary and Whitesburg Middle School.  Two of my kids went to Grissom High School and one went to New Century Technology High School.

Q: Name your three favorite things about living in the Redstone Region.

  • The weather is mostly terrific (except July and August)
  • Access to great natural resources – hiking trails, camping, white water, lakes, bike trails, greenways, mountains.
  • The music scene is fun and vibrant

Q: What is one thing you would like Space Command personnel to know about the region?

I love Colorado, the people, the geography, the vibe.  Huntsville is more like COS than you’d think.
